Recruiter - technical hiring (remote)

Fernwood Quill Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Providence, and we need a Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to fraud alerts. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on fraud alerts. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
