Recruiter - technical hiring (remote)

Foxglove Haven Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Chicago. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on technical hiring. You would join a large organisation of about 346 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to underwriting files. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on underwriting files. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
