Recruiter - technical hiring (remote)

Ironwood Cobalt Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Charleston, and we need a Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to underwriting files. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on underwriting files. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
