Recruiter - technical hiring (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Cross Freight and adding a Recruiter whose main responsibility will be technical hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Portland. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to loads and lanes. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
