Recruiter - technical hiring (Portland, OR)

Northwind Maple Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Portland, and we need a Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to maintenance stores. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
