Recruiter - technical hiring (Pittsburgh, PA)

Amberfield Forge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on technical hiring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to dock schedules. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
