Recruiter - technical hiring (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Ember Community Partners and adding a Recruiter whose main responsibility will be technical hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to benefits enrolment. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
