Recruiter - technical hiring (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Basin Environmental Services is looking for a Recruiter. The job centres on technical hiring for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to service complaints. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
