Recruiter - technical hiring (New Orleans, LA)

Nova Haven Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around New Orleans, and we need a Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to catastrophe response. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
