Recruiter - technical hiring (Milwaukee, WI)

Harborlight Stone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Milwaukee. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on technical hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 160 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to loads and lanes. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
