Recruiter - technical hiring (Chicago, IL)

Silverline River Housing manages affordable housing communities across Chicago. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on technical hiring. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to maintenance stores. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
