Recruiter - technical hiring (Chicago, IL)

Greenridge Hollow Freight Associates moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Chicago, and we need a Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to carrier rates. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
