Recruiter - technical hiring (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Quarry Freight is a Charleston logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on technical hiring. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to claims. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
