Recruiter - technical hiring (Charleston, SC)

Harborlight Orchard Freight Associates moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Charleston, and we need a Recruiter to lead our technical hiring. You would join a large organisation of about 763 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to dock schedules. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
