Recruiter - technical hiring (Birmingham, AL)

Highbridge Stone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Birmingham. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on technical hiring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to dock schedules. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
