Recruiter - technical hiring (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Cross Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Birmingham. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on technical hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to recycling loads. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on recycling loads. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
