Recruiter - interview scheduling (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Northwind Basin Facilities and adding a Recruiter whose main responsibility will be interview scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to safety inspections. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on safety inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
