Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Stone Freight is looking for a Recruiter. The job centres on hourly and shift hiring for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 783 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to carrier rates. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
