Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (Rochester, NY)

Harborlight Kestrel Staffing is looking for a Recruiter. The job centres on hourly and shift hiring for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to retention. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on retention. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
