Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (remote)

Fernwood Meridian Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in Birmingham with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Recruiter to lead our hourly and shift hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 183 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to equipment calibration. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on equipment calibration. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
