Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (remote)

Fernwood Stone Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Portland. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on hourly and shift hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to recycling loads. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
