Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (remote)

Fernwood Juniper Freight is looking for a Recruiter. The job centres on hourly and shift hiring for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to dock schedules. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
