Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (remote)

Fernwood Corner Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Houston, and we need a Recruiter to lead our hourly and shift hiring. You would join a small organisation of about 58 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to catastrophe response. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
