Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (Portland, OR)

Summit Forge Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Portland. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on hourly and shift hiring. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to dock schedules. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on dock schedules. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
