Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (Oakland, CA)

Ironwood Harbor Freight is a Oakland logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Recruiter to lead our hourly and shift hiring. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to dock schedules. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on dock schedules. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
