Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood West Environmental Services is looking for a Recruiter. The job centres on hourly and shift hiring for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to weigh tickets. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
