Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (Des Moines, IA)

Nova Granite Community Partners is a Des Moines charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Recruiter to lead our hourly and shift hiring. You would join a large organisation of about 279 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to volunteer shifts. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on volunteer shifts. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
