Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Bright Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Des Moines, and we need a Recruiter to lead our hourly and shift hiring. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to online orders. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on online orders. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
