Recruiter - hourly and shift hiring (Chicago, IL)

Silverline Beacon Insurance is looking for a Recruiter. The job centres on hourly and shift hiring for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to underwriting files. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
