Recruiter - campus hiring (Virginia Beach, VA)

Bright Beacon Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Virginia Beach, and we need a Recruiter to lead our campus hiring. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to repair requests. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on repair requests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
