Recruiter - campus hiring (Sacramento, CA)

Fernwood Nest Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Sacramento region, and we need a Recruiter to lead our campus hiring. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to candidate screening. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on candidate screening. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
