Recruiter - campus hiring (remote)

Bright West Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Portland, and we need a Recruiter to lead our campus hiring. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to recycling loads. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on recycling loads. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
