Recruiter - campus hiring (remote)

Bright Fern Freight is a Birmingham logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on campus hiring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to carrier rates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on carrier rates. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
