Recruiter - campus hiring (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Rook Community Partners is a nonprofit in Oakland supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Recruiter to lead our campus hiring. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to food distribution. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on food distribution. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
