Recruiter - campus hiring (New Orleans, LA)

Northwind Meadow Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in New Orleans, and we need a Recruiter to lead our campus hiring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to rent assistance. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. What we are looking for • Two or more years of recruiting experience. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. Nice to have • Experience hiring for teams that work on rent assistance. • Local job-centre and school contacts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
