Recruiter - campus hiring (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Birch Environmental Services and adding a Recruiter whose main responsibility will be campus hiring. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to collection routes. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. What we are looking for • Fast, friendly and organised. • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
