Recruiter - campus hiring (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Vale Community Partners is a Chicago charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Recruiter to take on campus hiring. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Post roles, screen applicants and schedule interviews. • Partner with hiring managers on what the job really needs. • Coordinate offers, background checks and start dates. • Report weekly on pipeline and time to fill, including for roles tied to grant reporting. • Keep every candidate informed, including those who are not selected. What we are looking for • Comfort with an applicant-tracking system. • Fast, friendly and organised. • Two or more years of recruiting experience. Nice to have • Local job-centre and school contacts. • Experience hiring for teams that work on grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
