Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Wichita, KS)

Westbrook Junction Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Wichita area. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on incoming inspection. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for treatment plant data. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
