Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Sable Manufacturing makes precision components in Salt Lake City, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our incoming inspection. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for machine downtime. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
