Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Rochester, NY)

Harborlight Pine Manufacturing Group is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on incoming inspection for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer orders. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
