Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Wilder Manufacturing Group is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on incoming inspection for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for customer orders. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
