Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Reno, NV)

Northwind Kestrel Medical designs and makes medical devices in Reno, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our incoming inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for device records. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
