Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (remote)

Fernwood Junction Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Boston area, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our incoming inspection. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Record measurements and results accurately. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for treatment plant data. • Work with production to fix root causes. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
