Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Vista Water Authority and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be incoming inspection. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for treatment plant data. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
