Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (remote)

Bright West Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Portland. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on incoming inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for certifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
