Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Thistle Press and adding a Quality Inspector whose main responsibility will be incoming inspection. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for proofing. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
