Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (remote)

Fernwood Drift Foods is a Houston food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on incoming inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for sanitation schedules. What we are looking for • Honest, careful and consistent. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
