Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (remote)

Amberfield Ember Manufacturing makes precision components in Louisville. We are hiring a Quality Inspector to take on incoming inspection. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for machine downtime. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • ASQ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
