Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Pittsburgh, PA)

Lumen Granite Water Authority is looking for a Quality Inspector. The job centres on incoming inspection for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for pipe repairs. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Record measurements and results accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
