Quality Inspector - incoming inspection (Detroit, MI)

Stonegate Junction Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Detroit and nearby communities, and we need a Quality Inspector to lead our incoming inspection. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Flag and quarantine anything that does not meet standards. • Inspect materials and finished work against specifications. • Record measurements and results accurately. • Work with production to fix root causes. • Support audits and corrective-action follow-up for billing accounts. What we are looking for • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools. • Honest, careful and consistent. • Experience in quality, inspection or a similar detail-focused role. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • ASQ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
